all through this season Lucas has been pushing peyton away and he had every chance of being with her when lindsey first saw the ring, he wasn't obligated to ask her to marry him .. he could have easily have let lindsey go and went for peyton .. but he didn't ..doesn't that mean something? I mean as soon as Lucas found out in season2 that brooke was single and she is not hung up on another guy he didn't let her go ... he told her what he felt ..doesn't THAT mean something? and when brooke said 'i love you' he answered straight away 'i love you too!' It's obvious that when he was in love with brooke his heart was 100% sure .. but with peyton he's never sure.

SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE EVERYTHING'S BETTER AND EVERYTHING'S SAFE!

And also, Haley said that the book is about ''yearning and wants''
and Lucas already has Peyton. She told him she loved him and to not marry
Lindsay but he still said I do. Doesn't make sense if the book is about her.

I totally agree
and the quote definitely doesn't fit LP.I mean,Brooke and Lucas are just meant to be.It's obvious.I mean why did Lucas kiss Brooke in the flashback?And their dream/fake mariage life,in the flashback,seemed so real,they both want it to happen.
