oh that's true .. i mean the more obvious the signs are the more i believe there's going to be a twist .. I mean the obvious is thinking that the book is about peyton .. but it doesn't HAVE to be about peyton.
1) Lucas could really just have written a fictional story (although ok .. that's a bit impossible coz mark never writes anything for no reason)
2) the comet could be peyton that thanks to her brooke came back!
3) he's talking about Brooks comet <<obviously dedicated to Brooke

BTW since we know that mark never writes anything for no reason .. how about the DESTINY SHOT??? I mean u don't call two ppl DESTINED to be together and then just go back .. DESTINY is just too huge..
